So well as if I was not reading enough books tonight when I got out of choir my mom was in a meeting with the church so I went to our library and I checked out a book about dealing with 'Mean Girls' in your life, which Gina and Kelly can tell you I have had my fair share, this one peticular person I have to deal with is so named Taylor and goes to my church. So anyways, yea I got that book and I got one on dating........Practical dating.........it's actully a pretty good looking book...........
Ok so then also I am reading Eragon, Miss. Potter, and I still have yet to finish reading Long Way Round.....which I started to read like last year.....

I haven't read a book for enjoyment in maybe three years. Sad about that! My cousin *adored* Eragon, though! She hated the movie, but, hey, what can you do?

Yea, Amber said that if I read the book and then watch the movie I'm gonna be disapointed. She said it's not bad, the movie but it's not really like the book.

Well, last time I talked to my cousin, I asked her if she saw the movie (since I got her one of the books in the series for her at Christmas) and she said how disappointed she was. I was like, "Well, it looks like a romance movie from the previews, but isn't it about a dragon?" That's me being clueless.

Wasn't Eragon the freaking dragon!? *confused* Anyhow, I managed to finish "Around the World in 80 Days" for that dumb online class, and I really would like to read something, but for the most part, all of my books are still packed away either in the Titanic attic or the Titanic basement. (I swear to you, the attic looks like Titanic and the basement looks like steerage, where Rose dances!) I managed to find "Alice in Wonderland" that I bought maybe a month before we moved, and I need to really read it. It has both stories in it, and my mother loves Alice (even though I don't think she read the book)...but I thought it would be appropriate.

I read the book and saw the movie. I was dissapointed in both. I just saw too many references to LOTR.

Nope, I rented it instead. I don't like going to theaters.

Oh, BTW, I am reading White Oleander. Oh, how do you like it? I caught the movie on Lifetime a few months ago and it was really...well, intriguing. Allison Lohman (I think that's her name!) was great as the main character. Finally, someone who can act!

The movie is really good, but the book is much better. There is more character exploration in the book. You can understand the book and identify with Astrid. You see many changes in Astrid as she goes from one foster home to the next.

You see many changes in Astrid as she goes from one foster home to the next. That always seems to be the case, doesn't it? The book is always just a tad bit better than the movie. The screenplay really is what matters. A lot of stuff gets lost in translation when a book is adapted to the big screen.

Yes, Astrid goes through more foster homes in the book than the movie. Well, they couldn't put all of them into 2 hours, just the important ones. The ending of the book is different than the movies.
