When posting fan fiction, please note the following:
Please include the name of the story and the rating of the story in the title post.
The first post must include the following completed header:
Title: Name of the story
Author’s name: Your name on the forum and your name on any offsite archive, if different
Fandom: eg Titanic, Harry Potter, Doctor Who etc
Rating: Please rate your story, using one of the following classifications: K, K+, T, M
Stories rated inappropriately or using other classification systems will be deleted and the poster may receive an official warning.
Disclaimer: eg The Harry Potter universe is the property of JK Rowling. No copyright infringement is intended and no profit is being made from this story.
Status: eg Work in progress or Complete
Warnings: Provide content warnings where appropriate eg character death, potential damage to antlers, bad poetry etc.
Summary: Please give a brief summary of the plot of your story.
Please post all chapters within the same thread – do not start new threads for each individual chapter.
Please ensure the spelling and grammar in your story is of a reasonable standard before posting it. Having it checked by a beta-reader before posting is optional, but recommended. We understand that mistakes happen, and therefore simple spelling errors will not result in the deletion of stories, however please consider your readers when posting - good spelling and grammar make stories a lot easier to read!
Readers may give constructive criticism in relation to stories unless the author has explicitly stated that this is not permitted, but flames of any kind are not allowed. Any forum member judged to be posting insults, derogatory comments etc will be given an official warning.
Authors, please state within your summary whether or not you are willing to accept constructive criticism. Unless it has been explicitly stated that constructive criticism is not acceptable, posters can assume that it is allowed.
Failure to comply with any of the above will result in your story being deleted from the board immediately, and you may also receive an official warning.
Any questions - please ask one of the admins. These rules are of course subject to change as issues arise.
Thanks in advance for your co-operation, Becky
